Very rare, unique Art Case Weber, called “Early English” Grand designed by the Weber company. Weber was known for making great pianos with interesting designs. We restored the art work and Refinished/French Polished the case. 5’8″ rich African Mahogany grain piano made in 1930. Plays great and has a beautiful Art case design. This is the first one we have ever had or even seen or heard about. Was a player piano at one point but mechanism has been removed. We can install a new PianoDisc IQ player system for you. This type of decoration is referred to as a cartouche. A cartouche is a structure or figure, often in the shape of an oval shield or oblong scroll, used as an architectural or graphic ornament or to bear a design or inscription.and have been in used in western culture since ancient times and is a way of showing off the veneering and inlay skills of master “ebenistes” those who apply great skill in finishing the exterior of wood case pieces.
